Student Council Disco!

What: 70/80's Theme Disco Night!

Classes: 4th-6th Class

Date: Thursday March 3rd

Location: Hilton Hotel

Time: 6.30pm- 8pm

Cost : €4

Shop on the night, so bring some extra money if you like

You can bring one friend if you like

Really Important: Each child needs to return the permission slip to school, by Wednesday 2nd at the latest, along with their money and the name of the person who will be collecting them. Children are not allowed to walk home alone.

Tuesday morning in our centre, 10.00 - 12.00 approx.

€2.50 contribution towards refreshments

 

Babog Group (pre walkers) –

Tuesday 2.15 to 3.30, plus Thursday 9.30 - 11.30

in our centre,

€3.00 contribution towards refreshments and activities

 

Men's Group –

Tuesday evening in our centre, 7.00 - 9.00,

€2.50 contribution towards refreshments and activities.

 

Men's Shed –

Tuesday mornings starts 10.00a.m approx. –

this takes place in Baldoyle Forum (community hall). 

 

Music Appreciation Class –

Wednesday 2.30 - 4.30 for 10 weeks in our centre,

starts 2nd of March.

This costs €8.00 per class.

 

Women's Group –

Wednesday evening in our centre, 7.30 - 9.30,

€2.50 contribution towards refreshments and activities.

Parent and Toddler group – Friday morning, 10.30 - 12.00                                                                                                                                   in Baldoyle Library

€2.50contribution towards refreshments.

 

Parents/Guardians Support Group

Parents/Guardians Support Group

Following a request from parents we are looking at establishing a support group for parents of children in our school. All children have different needs and having a safe space in which to discuss these needs (Special Education Needs, Leaning difficulties, behaviour problems, emotional problems following bereavement etc )  could be a great way of supporting each other and sharing ideas. If you would be interested in such a group, please contact me so that we can get an idea of how this group might form and how it would best suit the needs of the parents in our school.

Help Your child with Homework Workshop

Thanks to all the parents who attended the workshops over the last few days. It was a good opportunity for parents to discuss the challenges that Homework can pose but also share tip and ideas that they find helpful. Below are  some of the websites we discussed.
